It's an ongoing online joke - the subject of more memes than I care to mention, but the sentiment is real, many of us would like to cancel 2020 and start again.
If the bushfires, floods and drought wasn't enough, we then got COVID-19 and it's been a testing time for many of us.
But, it turns out, somebody is trying to do something about re-setting this 2020 clock.
Tamworth True, a community group in NSW's north west, thinks the new financial year could be the new New Year's Eve we are looking for.
The group's founder Jody Ekert said it wasn't about wiping out the tumultuous events of 2020 but about starting again with renewed hope.
"It's an opportunity to talk about stuff that's gone on, and be more hopeful and forward-looking, to put some joy into the year," Ms Ekert said.
It's totally community driven, meaning people are free to go "rogue" with ideas.
So go on, think big.
What would you like to do to re-start this year and bring some more hope to your community?
