The windy conditions on Sunday didn't deter more than 30 golfers from heading to the course to play in the Brian Lennon Memorial ambrose.

The winners on the day were Tyson and Brandon Burey.
Runners-up were Steve Kliendienst and Anthony Dittman.
First nine winners were Ian Taylor and Len Stanley.
The second nine went to Boyd Stanley and Tom Starr.
Nearest to the pins were Mickey Shiner on the 7th and Boyd Stanley on both the 10th and 18.
The long drive of the day was won by Jake Ellis.
Congratulations must go to Dasha for organising and putting on a great day.
Next Sunday will be for another excellent cause - a two person ambrose for the Westpac rescue helicopter, and this is always a great day.
Keep in mind the Pennants will be in Glen Innes on the 1st of December.

Ladies
Last week a field of 14 ladies competed for the annual 4BBB Championship.
After 27 holes the winners were Donna White and Pam Youman with a score of 68 points.
The Runners-up were Pip White and Shona Mulligan with 64 points.
The ladies would like to thank Guyra Welding Works for their continued support and sponsorship.
Nearest the Pin winners were Nancy Prisk on the 7th hole, Donna White on the 9th hole, Wendy George on the 10th hole and Pip White on the 18th hole.
This week we are playing a Stroke and Putting Competition with Belinda Lenehan as the starter.
Next week is a Stableford Event playing for Jenny Rogers trophy, also with Jenny Rogers as the starter.
On Sunday 3rd November we have some ladies playing in the Armidale Jug.
