Chris Hietbrink and her team have organised a Reverse Advent Giving Project.
Guyra residents can leave toys (new or clean used), toiletries, grocery items, and gift items in a donations box at the front of the Hub, 160 Bradley Street.
These will then be distributed to those in need.

This is the second time the Hub has run the program.
Last year, starting a fortnight before Christmas, the community donated non-perishable foods and brand new gifts for men, women, children, and babies.
Around 400 people benefited from the program. A hundred-odd Hub clients on probation and parole were able to take whatever they wanted.
“They didn’t have anything at all to provide as presents for Christmas,” Mrs Hietbrink said.
“Santa wasn’t visiting that house; Dad wasn't able to give anything to the kids, nor to his parents and family members, nor to the kids’ mother, and therefore he didn’t have any money for the kids to give something to Mum as well.”
The Hub at Guyra is open 10am to 2pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
