President of the New England Art Society Tess Cullen said “The Timeless Mix” combined the work of Antoinette Andersen and Kim Walls.
She thought while Antoinette tended to explore colour deeply, with bold blends that bring her works to life, Kim was newer to painting and excited to exhibit
Tess said “The Drama Of Black on White” was the work of self-taught artist Stewart MacDonald.
Stewart said he preferred painting people and that it was his belief art should first give you pleasure, then something to think about.
“Painting in Black and white reveals line as well as dramatic contrasts not always obvious even in some paintings that are familiar to us all," Stewart said.
“Sunrise to Moonrise” is an exhibit by Inverell’s Peter Champion. The works are his landscape impressions from morning light and until the moon is high.
“Much of my subject matter is New England based with other works inspired by visits to the seaside,” Peter said.
“My works are in either Oil or Acrylic, with both works from the Studio and Pleinair represented.”
“Elemental” combines painting by Lynda Lockyer and sculpture by Stuart Wellings and the forces of nature and how they influence the landscape are the inspiration behind this exhibition.
