Guyra and the Barbarians will face off in Armidale this Saturday to get off the mark.
Guyra missed out on a win against City in round two on home soil.
City won the toss and sent Guyra in to bat first.
It was a costly start for Guyra who lost their opening four batsmen for a combined eight runs.
Captain Charlie Keen stepped up to make 28 and was backed up by Jake Davies who added 15.
Guyra managed to make 79 from 28 overs.
BJ Cameron started his side’s defence with a bang, claiming the wicket of Andrew Skinner on the opening ball. The young bowler sent Simon Stubbs back to the sheds with just five runs on the board.
City’s Michael Allen and captain Kyle Taylor provided the spark the Armidale side needed as they combined to reach 81 and defeat the hosts.
Second grade didn't have much luck in round two either, falling to City.
City batted first to make 153.
The Guyra batsmen just couldn’t get over the mark, eventually falling for 102.
The third graders comfortable accounted for the Baa Baas on Saturday, finishing with 6-321.
Matt Finley cracked a century with 113.
The Guyra bowlers were too good, cleaning up their opponents for 110.
