The Under 8’s started the day off with a win 28-24 after leading 20-12 at half-time.
Try scorers were Tom Brazier 3, Hugo Brazier 2 and Tynan Bull 2.
It was a good win with four or five of the boys playing their first game.
The Under 10’s then ran onto the field against a previously undefeated Armidale team.
They started fast scoring 36 points in the first half.
They kept going in the second half and took the game 48-6 with Oscar Atkin 2, Brendan Landsborough 1, Ben Reinke 1, Dallas Kelly 2, Archie Dowden 2 and Ty Mulligan 1 scoring the trys.

Then it was the Under 12’s turn to take on Armidale.

But Guyra ran out of puff in the second half, going down 36-20 with Ben Jones scoring a try.
The Under 14’s ran out for the last game of the day against a much bigger Armidale side.
The boys played strong in the first half and went to half-time trailing 22-10.
Guyra didn’t put their heads down and gave Armidale a scare, going down 32-26 with trys to Alistair Connors, Cormack Hume 2, Jack Armitage and Myles Williams.
Guyra Junior League would like to congratulate and thank Isaiah King for his first game refereeing on the weekend. Good job, Isaiah.
Next week we travel to Ashford with all teams except the Under 14’s playing.
Games start at 10.00am with the Under 8’s, followed by the Junior League Tag.
