I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the Guyra Country Gardens held last weekend. The weather was fantastic and the gardens of “Wattletop”, “Willow Park”, “Calga” and “Briarfield” all looked spectacular and attracted over 848 people from all over the region and beyond.

A very special thank you to Lock Rogers & Family, Helen & John McKemey, Don and Anne Woods and Robert and Julia Woods for opening up your garden gates to the public. Without your support, the success of this event would not have been possible. To Mara Grills, Marie Grills, Jane Moffatt, Emma McLennan and Jess Watters, you are my “A” team, the money raised from the plant stall, luncheon and coffee machine could not have happened without all your hard work.
The Guyra Campdraft Committee along with the Guyra Pony Club, Guyra Show Society, Guyra Polocrosse and Guyra Light Horse are all working together to restore the equine and agricultural facilities at our beautiful showground which are in much need of repair. The money raised from last weekend will certainly give us a great start!
