This year the Guyra Central Parents and Citizens Association is hosting a fun filled morning of running, jogging and walking through the streets of Guyra.
It is to be held on Sunday morning, 11 October, and there will be two events. The first is an 8km run, jog or walk that will take you from Ryanda Street to Sole Street and a few in between (don’t worry there will be drink stations along the way)! You must be at least 12 years of age to enter this event.
If you don’t think you’re up for 8kms, then you needn’t despair, we have a second event which is a 2km family/kids fun run, that people of all ages are welcome to participate in.
Prize money will be up for stakes for the first male and female home in all age brackets and there will also be a free goodie bag, piece of fruit and water for all entrants that make it back to the finish line.
Both of these events will be timed via electronic bibs and this is your chance to see how you compare to your peers and provide you with inspiration to reach your goals!!
Plenty of food and drink and a jumping castle for the littlies will be available on the day, as well as roaming photographers, who will catch you in all your glory!! So what are you waiting for! Make the commitment and REGISTER NOW.
Registrations/payment are made online by visiting www.guyrapandc.wix.com/funrun.
You have until Monday, 5 October to register. Please note that no registrations will be taken on the day.
If you would like assistance in registering, then please see Aimee at the Guyra Library or the administration staff at Guyra Central School. See you there.
