The Australian Light Horse Association (ALHA) gathered in Guyra on the weekend, with 28 members testing their skills in a number of events. In attendance were three directors from the ALHA, Mr Jim Simons, Mr Graham Brown and Scott Rhodes who were judges for the day.

The winners of this year’s Guyra Challenge was a section of riders from the 12th Murrurundi Light Horse Troop consisting of Warren Bramley, Sean Logue, Sarah Connelly and Ben Logue.
Equal second were the 11th Light Horse Darling Downs Troop consisting of Guy Pittman, Ray Cook, Kim Flehr and Don Willey and the 12th 16th 24th Troop of Laura Jobling, James Mills, Pat Grills and Garry Swansen.
Other events contested were the Skill at Arms which was won by James Mills and the Rifle Shoot which was won by Jeff Holmes. The encouragement award went to Sean Logue.
