Meg Simpson scored 40 Stableford points to win Shona Mulligan’s Trophy last Wednesday. Meg is an excellent golfer whose drives are consistently long and accurately placed in the centre of the fairway.
Runner up for the day was Joyce Betts who played wonderful golf to also score 40 Stableford points. Nearest the pin on the 7th green was Donna White’s fine shot within 285 centimetres of the pin.
As the months of spring progress it certainly is beautiful weather to be out on the Guyra Golf Course. However, we would welcome some much needed rain.
Next week’s golf is a Stableford competition for Wendy George’s trophy. Starter is Wendy.
