Apple Tree Garden has been in operation since mid-January offering something new in the Guyra town landscape and Jenni has been pleased with the feedback from customers so far.
Jenni is a registered nurse who is currently on leave from her position as the child health nurse at Guyra MPS. While she said she misses the interaction with the mums and babies, she wants to devote time to getting the business up and running.
“I have a passion for all things natural and the opening of the shop lets me share that passion with others,” Jenni said. “What I stock will be driven by customer demand and I would love to get feedback to allow me to cater for their needs - Guyra is a great little town, and everyone has been very supportive.”
As well as the shopfront located next door to the Guyra Emporium, Jenni is looking to build an online presence, with a facebook page in the process of being set up and a website been planned. She sources her products from the Brisbane markets, and is looking to move into specialty lines such as spelt, buckwheat and chickpea flours.
A firm believer that healthy eating should be affordable, she says the prices are more than competitive with the big supermarkets.
Apple Tree Garden also offers a range of essential oils, natural organic personal care and household cleaning products, in line with her belief that ‘we can give ourselves a real advantage by promoting healthy eating habits and providing an environment that greatly reduces toxins.’
The shop is currently open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week.
Outside of these days, or if you can’t make it to town Jenni is happy to take orders by phone 0407 340 470 or email clouddwellers56@gmail.com
“It’s your health, your life, your choice… I invite you to take a step into my Apple Tree Garden.”
