The first grade team suffered a seven wicket-loss to City on Saturday. Signs were promising early for Guyra with Shane Wolfenden and Brandon Landsborough taking advantage of the short TAS backfield boundaries.
Landsborough was first to depart for 22, Troy Martin went next with 23 runs thanks to Andrew Skinner's bowling and then Wolfenden's with an innings of 52, which included eight fours and two sixes ended off Simon Butler. Wickets continued to fall for Guyra and then were all out for 201.
With the bat, City's Kyle Taylor cracked triple figures with his 126-run stand which saw 20 fours and four sixes hit. They got the job done in 25.3 overs with only three wickets down.
