The school sent three sides to Dubbo last week to compete in the Central Schools championships. Starting with touch football on Tuesday, the under-16 touch romped home to an undefeated championship.
Alistair Connors was named most valuable player in the carnival.
"Alistair Connors, very good at touch," teacher Scott Miller said.
"Reads the game so well and he did a fair bit of reffing as well so he had a very busy day."
They then turned their attention to rugby league sevens with Guyra Central entering teams in the under-14 and under-16 divisions.
It was another under-16 win with Guyra claiming the triumph.
Billy Youman scored the most valuable player award in what Miller described as a "strong team effort."
"He [Youman] just impresses me every time I watch him play, hard as nails and is involved in everything," Miller said.
"They really were just solid right across.
"The other teams that would either be really strong defensively and attack would let them down and they would make a lot of loose errors. Whereas, our boys, the difference was they all put in together.
"There were no weak links across the park. Every time there was a tackle, there would be a second person come in to help out."
Even more impressively, much of the side don't play rugby league together at club level with soccer players and athletes from other sports joining in to help out.
The third team who took the field were the under-14 side which featured a host of young players.
They finished third behind Molong and Warren.
"It was very strong competition down there," Miller said.
"We have still got a very young side, a lot of these fellas will back up again next year."
