Here are some things to do if you decide to take a break and travel to this art-deco town.
The Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre is the town's main tourist attraction.
It's the home of the artesian water, FINA standard olympic pool, 10 metre-high waterslide and children's waterpark.
You can take time out and relax at Moree Artesian Wellness and Day Spa.
Soaking in one of Moree's artesian pools, with its rich mineral waters, will re-energise you.
MOREE is renowned for its diverse art scene, and this talent will soon swell as creatives from across Australia exhibit at the inaugural BAMM Art Fair.
The new annual event calls on artists from across Australia to submit works to the themed group exhibition, or sell their wares at the Arts and Craft Market on the fair's opening weekend.
BAMM director Vivien Clyne said the fair encouraged artists to be creative with the exhibition theme, Visions of Colour, open to all creative pursuits and media.
"BAMM Art Fair aims to promote the work of local and regionally based artists. There are so many hobbyists, amateur and professional artists in regional areas, we hope the BAMM Art Fair will help them take their practise to a new level," Mrs Clyne said.
"We are excited to see imaginative responses to the theme across all artistic forms. We have seen interest from a Narrabri based textiles group and I'd be thrilled to see ceramics, woodwork and other 3D artworks as well as paintings, watercolour and photography."
All artworks displayed at the BAMM Art Fair will be for sale, with funds raised supporting BAMM's programs of art classes and workshops.
"We encourage our community to get behind their local artists and craftspeople and support the event."
The opening weekend of the BAMM Art Fair will feature a cocktail party opening night on Friday, June 28 and an art and craft market the following day in the BAMM garden.
With participation in the BAMM Art Fair Market limited to 10 stallholders, Mrs Clyne said it provided an excellent opportunity for artisans to sell their wares and trial new products.
The market day will include free activities for children as well as live artist demonstrations and music in the garden.
"The whole weekend will have a festival air about it which kicks off a month of art and creativity at BAMM with a series of workshops, artist talks and events."
Among the schedule of events is BAMM's monthly Art After Dark, a papermaking workshop led by Yvonne Ledingham, lead-lighting with Colleen Moloney and a learn to weave class with Maisie Johnson.
The BAMM Art Fair runs from June 28 to July 27.
