Britt Youman, Tori Brazier, Courtney Reeves, Daneeka and Keisha Boney as well as Kasey Gaukroger, Taneika and Hayley Ford have shifted to Armidale to play league tag for the Rams.
The Armidale side have won all but one match and sit on top of the Group 19 first division table.
On Saturday for Old Boys' Day, they faced Narwan.
It was a hard-fought league tag battle which eventually went the way of the Rams girls.
After scores were locked up at 6-all at half-time, Armidale raced home to take the win 24-6.
"I was happy with our defensive effort for entire game," Rams coach Jess Smith said.
"During the first-half we didn't use our attacking plan at all. At half-time we spoke about getting back into that structure and plan we had been working on, and it proved to pay off when we started to use it."
Group 19 are in the final stages of selecting a possibles and probables league tag squad to defend their Greater Northern Championships open's title.
It's a tough task with around 270 talented league tag players within the Group.
The Greater Northern Championships are set to be contested in June where a Tigers team will be selected for the Northern draw of the Country Championships.
Glen Innes minor league have secured the hosting rights for the Northern draw of the under-16 and open's league tag Country Championships.
Tori and Kasey played for Group 19's under-16 team at Bellingen recently where they beat Group 2 in a trial match.
The pair will be looked at for Greater Northern honours.
The competition will feature representative teams from Greater Northern, North Coast, Northern Rivers, Newcastle and Central Coast.
In previous years, the league tag tournament has taken place over several weekends but the 2019 championships on July 20 is the first time it has been held on one day.
The winning team from the Northern draw will then go on to face Southern NSW's best for the title.
"It is an exciting time for the women's game as it continues to grow in all forms," Greater Northern regional manager Scott Bone said.
The whole Group 19 area, both seniors and juniors, takes a break over the June long weekend before resuming on June 15.
The Guyra junior rugby league club will be at home for their next lot of fixtures where they will face off against Warialda.
