A big crowd gathered to watch all grades play.
The under 6s and under 8s played their matches in good spirits.
The under-10 league tag girls won their match 36-4.
The under-13 girls drew with Glen Innes 14-all.
In the under-16 league tag match, the enthusiastic Guyra side were downed 28-4.
The under-10 Guyra tackle side was pipped 22-16 while the under 12s thumped Glen Innes 24-nil.
It was another nail-biter in the under-14 match but Glen Innes eventually took the win 20-18.
Guyra juniors have the bye this weekend.
On Sunday, Rave Brazier, Brendan Landsborough and Whakeem Patterson played for the Group 19 under-12 team in Bellingen in a trial against Group 2.
They were beaten on the bell 22-18.
Oscar Atkin, Harrison Brazier, Brodi and Riley Campbell and Archie Dowden played in the under-13 team who were toppled 48-6 with Oscar scoring Group 19's lone try.
In the under-14 league tag match, Guyra player Lorissa Wilson took the field.
Group 19 won 14-4.
On Sunday, Guyra juniors Dylan Sutton and Jack Lockyer were part of the Glen Innes Magpies under-18 side who thrashed Armidale on Sunday.
The Magpies fronted up to Mead Park and dominated.
They finished with a 58-6 win with their ball control impressing coach Gavin Peterson.
"They played really well," he said.
"Armidale to start the game were a bit under-strength but as you know, you still have to play well to win regardless of how many on the field.
"We have been talking about our ball control and being a bit more patient and they did that yesterday [Sunday].I was quite happy with their performance.
"Defence was still pretty solid and they were a lot more patient with the football and it was great."
The Magpies have the bye this weekend, followed by a general bye on the June long weekend.
