The 14-year-old is no stranger to the junior representative scene but now he gets the chance to impress against the best.
Billy turned out for North West last week against Western in Coonabarabran.
His performance didn't go unnoticed and the superstar in the making was chosen for the Greater Western under-15 side for the NSW Combined High Schools rugby league trials.
"A month ago I tried out for zone at Inverell and made that side," Billy said.
"Then a week after that I went to Armidale and tried out for North West where I was selected in the North West side.
"Last week I went down to Coonabarabran to trial for the NSW Greater Western side where we played one game against Western where I got selected into the Greater Western side."
Billy said the competition was tough but it was an honour to be chosen for further honours.
"They were all great players and I was lucky enough to get selected in the team," he said.
"I played the best I could and I was hoping I got selected and that was the case.
"I am really happy about getting picked because now I go down to Toronto to trial against a few teams for the NSW under 15s rugby league."
Billy is also in the Northern Inland Academy of Sport squad which start their skills training later this month.
NIAS co-coach Peter Stevens said it wasn't surprising Billy was picked in the Greater Western side.
"I was out there to watch that and he deservedly made the team," he said.
"One thing he will do is give his all every time he takes the field. He is probably not the biggest kid when he takes the field [but] he gives his all and shows up in every game he plays.
"He has done real good to make that Greater Western side with his size.
'We have picked him in the NIAS squad in the dummy-half. I coached him in the Group 14s last year.
"Very good at training and willing to learn. He's just tough. And he wants to be there."
The team is made up of players from as far south as Lithgow to Warren in the west and up to Glen Innes.
Armidale's Malakai Griffiths and Brendan James as well as Glen's Jack Grob made the team.
