Guyra's prowess in the junior rugby league ranks has again been solidified with a host of players named in Group 19's representative development squads.

The Group conducted trials for the under 12 and under 13 teams earlier this month and announced their squads on Tuesday.
In the under 12s, Rave Brazier, Brendan Landsborough and Whakeem Patterson were named while Oscar Atkin, Harrison Brazier, Brodi and Riley Campbell and Archie Dowden were named in the under 13s.
"We have had lots of best and fairest players come up through the ranks," Guyra junior league president Gina Lockyer said.
"Congratulations and it is great to see the talent in Guyra is recognised.
"They are not only representing themselves but the town and the club."
Group 19 will also be holding representative trials for under 14s and under 16s league tag at Inverell's Kamilaroi Oval on Sunday, May 19 at 9.45am. The selected players will play against Group 2 in a trial the following weekend.

Originally from the Blue Mountains, I spent my teenage years in the Riverina at boarding school before moving to Bathurst in 2012 to complete Bachelor of Sport Studies/ Bachelor of Communications (journalism) at Charles Sturt University. I started my career at The Blayney Chronicle in May 2015 and worked casually, one day a week at the Central Western Daily later that year. I moved to Armidale in March 2016 to take on the role as the Northern Tablelands' sports journalist.
