ENTERTAINMENT: Jim Parkinson said all youth would be welcome to attend at the youth club disco.

Fighting Temptations Youth Group committee member Jim Parkinson said the group would hold a free disco with a light dinner provided for 5 to 15-year-olds from 6pm-8pm at the Minimbah Hall on Friday, April 26.

Jim said the disco would be held during the school holidays.

"It's on then because the kids don't generally have a lot to do. Parents are welcome to come along, but the children will be well supervised," he said.

"We are looking for volunteers for the ongoing youth group. All they need is just some enthusiasm. We organise police checks and all that and there's no expense to them. That's all free.

"We're happy to work with people and we've got a core group that run the activities there. So, there's just more around supervising the safety of the kids, cooking for them on the night and a bit of cleaning up."

Jim said if anyone would like to help the group out they could contact: 0447 562 453
