Braidie and Dan Vidler took over on Wednesday, March 6, from previous owners Ben and Ash McFarlane.

Braidie had worked for the McFarlanes since they opened the cafe 10 months ago.
"They wanted out," Braidie said. "They travelled from Inverell every day, and that was a bit too much. I'd always wanted to have a go at running a business, and the opportunity was there!"
The first few days, Braidie said, were hectic but good; she had plenty of support. They have a team of four full-time and four casual workers to help.
"I use all of the McFarlanes' advice," she said. "I've taken on from how they did it, and run with that at the moment."
Once the Vidlers have their heads round everything, they'll look at changing the menus.
They've already made one change: earlier opening hours. The cafe opens from Wednesday to Friday at 6.30am, serving early breakfasts, morning tea, and lunches.
Braidie thanks the Guyra community for their support.
The Guyra Cafe is open Wednesday 6.30am to 5pm, Thursday and Friday 6.30am to 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday 8.30am to 2pm.
