“We’re really stoked,” member Robin Godlonton said.
The group of artists and craftspeople started three years ago, and meet once a month for coffee, chat, and to organize their yearly expo – and, of course, to have fun.
They’ll find out at the awards dinner at the Guyra Bowling & Recreation Club this Friday whether they’ve won.
The group is selling their works throughout the Lamb and Potato Festival.
You can visit the Anglican Church Hall from 10am each day to see some of their creations, along with those of members of the Guyra Men’s Shed and other locals.

“We have a variety of crafts,” Robin said – and any craft enthusiast should pay them a visit.
There’s local produce, including vegetables, biscuits, jellies, sauces (plum and tomato), relishes, and green tomato pickles.
There are bags, baby wear, beanies, and birdfeeders; teacosies and soft toys; wooden clocks, pine cone mats, and crocheted tea towels.
There’s also a retro kitchen display, and an army of marching ants – marching out the door, Robin joked.
The group has around 10 members; most are retired, but some work full-time.
Robin herself is a professional curtain-maker, so fiddling with plants or making bags in the evening is something different.
The crafts expo is open until Sunday.
