Presbyterian Ladies College (PLC) Armidale principal Mrs Nicola Taylor said she was impressed by this year’s HSC results and congratulated the PLC Class of 2018.

"Thirty per cent of students achieved a solid Band 6 result, and a further 30 per cent of the cohort achieved results in the top two Bands (5 and 6). Twenty per cent of our students achieved an ATAR of over 92," she said.

Mrs Taylor thought this year's results were impressive across the board.
"Sarah Askey from Armidale, achieved our highest ATAR of 94.95," she said.
“Congratulations to the following PLC Armidale students who attained the highest results in courses studied and achieving a mark of 90 or above in at least one subject: Sarah Askey (Armidale), Darcy Campbell (Nabiac), Julia Chambers (Bundella), Jessica Hughes (Armidale), Gabriella Parsons (Deepwater) and Lucy Quast (Armidale).
"We also extend our sincerest congratulations to our Music 2 / Music Extension Class who achieved a Band 6 in Music 2 and 49/50 for Music Extension along with nominations for Encore! An incredible achievement.”
