Back on home turf, Guyra are aiming to topple the ladder leaders.
The last time they faced each other was in round one where Easts snagged the points with a one wicket win.
Guyra skipper Matt Jackson is hoping to turn the tables around this Saturday.
“They are the only team we haven't beaten this year so it is a big task for us and hopefully we can put up a good show,” he said.
“The biggest thing is we need to straighten up our fielding this week and once again focus with the bat.
“We didn't drop a whole lot of catches, the biggest thing was our ground fielding was a bit poor; balls just beating players and easy runs and that sort of thing.”
While Jackson highlighted the fielding needing improvement from their last match, he believes they will have to step up across the park.
“This weekend is a big test for us because Easts are the benchmark of the competition so making sure we can get a competitive total or defend them to something competitive and give ourselves a chance in the game,” he said.
“They do have a couple of big hitters and if they get going it is about everyone keeping the lips up and staying positive in the field.
“There is always going to be chances with those big hitters as well.”
Jackson and paceman Tyson Burey re-joined Guyra after a stint at Easts.
Although it provides a little more of a personal incentive to claim the win, Jackson said they are more focused on their efforts for their team.
“For me personally it probably does but on a whole our team, we just enjoy playing together,” he said.
“I don't think it matters who we are playing, we just go out there and have a good time.
“We are more carried away in having a go at each other rather than worry about who we are playing.”
Guyra’s last-start win came against City where they were missing Shane Wolfenden and Ben Jackson.
Matt Jackson is hoping the duo will be back this Saturday.
“We will be pretty similar, it is just a matter of whether Benny and Shane Wolfenden come back in,” he said.
“Shane is a big loss for us because I think he is going to be out still until January but we are going to try and work on him and get him in before then.
“He can get us on the front foot in a hurry.
“We probably missed Benny Jackson's chat in the field, the bloke that never shuts up. Absolutely insane.
“If he's back it will make a big difference.”
If the louder Jackson and Wolfenden return, will bolster the side’s batting stocks, although the skipper currently leads the competition for runs scored.
“They won't know what's hit them this year because Tyson Burey and I are no longer bowlers, we are batsmen,” he said two weeks ago.
“We can't get any wickets so we have decided we are going to be batsmen instead.”
On Wednesday, The Guyra Argus reminded Jackson of his bold statement.
“That is exactly right, I think I might have to throw Tyson in the all-rounder category.”
