Armidale Regional Council Mayor Simon Murray said the mall would be filled with an array of markets, with a visit from Santa and the Christmas tree lit after dark.
“This event has been steadily growing in popularity in recent years, bringing many people into the Armidale city centre for a wonderful family celebration,” Cr Murray said.
It will be followed about a week later by the Guyra Christmas Party at 5.30pm in Bradley Street on Friday, December 7.
Council and the Rotary Club of Guyra will team up for Guyra's celebration, which includes the lighting of the town Christmas tree, market stalls, a visit by Santa and a school parade.
