A culvert upgrade in the main street and waste disposal charges are expected to be two key topics to be raised by the community.

“We’ll put on a free barbecue and boil the kettle for anyone who wants to come along and discuss Council-related issues that are important to them,” Armidale Regional Council mayor Simon Murray said.
The next Councillors’ Cuppa will be held at Chalkers Cottage on Tuesday, August 21 from 6pm to 7pm.
“Black Mountain, Wards Mistake, Guyra and Wongwibinda have also been earmarked for Councillors’ Cuppas in the new year,” Cr Murray said.
“The Cuppas are part of Council’s efforts to get out to communities throughout our region.”
A full list of venues and dates of Councillors’ Cuppas has been announced for the rest of the year including:
- Ben Lomond on September 19 from 6.30pm
- Boorolong Woolshed on October 13 from 11.45am
- Ebor Public School on November 18 from 4pm
The Councillors’ Cuppa community information sessions were launched this year to give residents the chance to speak informally with their councillors.
