The scoreline remained even throughout the opening 35 minutes with tries to Guyra’s Brock Laybutt, Alipate Kaufana and Dan Vidler giving the visitors a 16-10 lead at half-time.
The second stanza mirrored the first with one team scoring followed by the other leveling the scoreboard.
We played some good footy in patches but it was just too inconsistent.

In the end it was Vidler’s second try late in the game which sealed the 32-26 win. The earlier second-half tries went to Ben Vidler and Brad Waters.
“We turned up knowing we were going to have a tough game,” player-coach Anthony Dittman said.
“We played some good footy in patches but it was just too inconsistent.
“It was an up and down game. Our discipline lets us down every week.”

Dan Vidler picked up player-of-the-match with three Group points with Walcha’s Dean Kelly snagging two while Ben Vidler claimed one.
This Saturday Guyra are at home to Bingara who have been hampered by an injury curse in recent weeks.
Dittman said his side won’t be at full-strength either but whoever does turnout in the sky blue will have to put together a consistent performance.
“We need to play footy for the whole 70 minutes,” he said.
“We have a good squad but we need to improve in areas to be competitive come finals.
“We will have a couple out this weekend due to injuries.”
In the league tag, three game-day withdrawals saw an under-strength Spudettes side come up against the second-placed Jillaroos.
The lack of numbers was evident as the home side ran in 46 points to nil.
This Saturday the Guyra girls are aiming to bounce back against Bingara who they drew with in round four.
“Hopefully we can get to how we played in the last couple of weeks and hopefully we have more players come back,” Spudettes coach Graham Smith said.
“They [Bingara] came flying home [in round four], they got a roll on and scored three quick tries and it ended up in a draw.
“We only had one on the bench and lost two players with injuries so we struggled with numbers really.
“We had training last night [Tuesday] and everyone is right for this weekend so we should be good.
“Hopefully we stick to our basic game plan and then just go from there.
“If we get a few more players in and we will just play each game as it comes and I just hope the ladies enjoy themselves.”
