Council’s Service Delivery leader Mark Piorkowski said since the flushing was completed council hasn’t received any complaints.

“If anyone in the Guyra community is still experiencing discoloured water from their taps please lodge a service request with council,” Mr Piorkowski said.
“So far so good, but we will also continue to complete routine dead-end mains flushing in a few months time as part of our regular maintenance schedule.”
Council has also engaged a water treatment specialist to complete further water quality testing and training of staff at the Guyra Water Treatment Plant.
The water specialist will make recommendations on expanded monitoring and possible upgrades to the filtration plant.
