A group of keen agriculture students from Guyra Central School participated in the Armidale Show last weekend, in a vast array of junior judging competitions which included stock horse, meat and Merino sheep, fleeces and cattle, as well as cattle parading.

Guyra Central was crowned overall champion exhibit due to the excellent presentation of the cattle and stall area, combined with the outstanding results achieved by both the students and cattle.

There were some outstanding achievements, which included Michael Looker and Harris Dullaway gaining first and second respectively in the fleece judging, Tom Lockyer placing second in the merino sheep judging, Andrew Pearson fifth in horse judging, Caleb Campbell-Spencer fifth in cattle judging with Michael Looker and Jamie Loeb also making the final, and Ashley Donnelly and Colleen Pearson making the finals for cattle parading.
Jo Dullaway and Gwyn and Ian Pearson helped with transporting cattle.
