The centre was officially opened on Monday by Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall.
“This … will transform local education delivery and make a real difference to the lives of students,” Mr Marshall said.

“Glen Innes students will be able to study their courses locally instead of having to travel to larger centres such as Armidale or Tamworth.
“They will also have access to 30 per cent more courses than at the existing campus and two additional full-time teachers, who have been employed as part of the CLC expansion and upgrades.”
Mr Marshall said the centre will house 30 per cent more courses including Introduction to Electro technology, Certificate IV in Wool-Classing and the Advanced Diploma in Agribusiness Management.
“This is absolute game changer,” he said.
“Local students can also access a huge range of new TAFE Digital courses including Event Management, Building and Construction and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care at home, work or at the CLC.
“There has been a lot said about CLCs this year but the opening of this facility along with the other three across the north west of the State demonstrates what the NSW Government is doing for TAFE NSW in rural and regional NSW.”
The Glen Innes CLC will be open five days a week and students will continue to have access to practical training, teachers and support services they need to complete their courses.
New courses offered by the Glen Innes CLC will be backed up by a full-range of Mobile Training Units that will deliver the quality practical training TAFE NSW is known for, consistent with industry standards.
Since opening the Quirindi and Tenterfield CLCs a fortnight ago, Mr Marshall today announced that more than 100 new students had enrolled to study at both campuses.
“I expect that with the same facilities here in Glen Innes, we’ll see similar increase in enrolments as we now give students access to more courses and a modern and cutting edge learning environment,” Mr Marshall said.
“As a local MP, I couldn’t be prouder to opening this magnificent educational facility because I know the difference it will make to people’s lives in this community.
“Those who want to get skilled and qualified to get a job, need only drop in at this CLC as talk to the wonderful staff, who will help you get where you want to go.”
The TAFE NSW Glen Innes CLC is open now and taking enrolments.
