Mr Marshall said it was an opportunity to join some of the region’s bright young minds for a chat about leadership, personal integrity and decision-making - all over an excellent lunch at Guyra’s Rafters.
“These young leaders are preparing to enter an exciting new period in their lives – facing new challenges, opportunities and experiences as they enter high school,” Mr Marshall said.
“I spoke with Year 4 and 6 students about the challenges they may face in leadership roles and shared some thoughts on how they effectively inspire their fellow students to action.
“These students all hail from smaller schools - and as members of close knit community, each has a tremendous opportunity to take up the mantle of leadership, whether it be in school, business, or community groups.
“Each one has a lot to offer their new schools over the coming years - and I wish them good luck in taking up roles that will better their schools and communities.”
