Now in its 26th year, esCarpade is a seven-day outback motoring adventure travelling more than 2000 kilometres from Port Macquarie to Toowoomba via Guyra, Glen Innes, Grafton and the Sunshine Coast this year.
“We’re travelling with our primary school education program which is our puppets and puppeteers,” event organiser Susan Fleming said. “They dispel common myths about cancer to the kids and during the trip we’ll do two school visits a day.”
This year 70 themed cars will make the journey raising money for Camp Quality along the way.
“We’re currently just sitting shy of $1 million with a goal of 1.2,” she said.
