“The Chamber had over 20 people attend the Welcome to Guyra morning tea from our newest visitors to some not so new from close and far, far away,” president Aileen MacDonald told The Argus.
“We met with crop workers from the tomato farm, the local Vicar and many more in between.
“This event would not be possible without the support of the Armidale Regional Council who sponsor our chamber to host these events during the year.”
The next Welcome to Guyra morning tea will be held in Spring.
“We hope to host it at the Guyra Community Gardens,” she said.
The chamber will also be having their AGM this Thursday, with all positions becoming vacant.
Mrs MacDonald will not be seeking re-election.
“I do not want to have a personal conflict with this role and my wanting to run for local government,” she said.
