And ANTY [Amalgamation? No Thank You!] group spokeswoman Beth White said Guyra would be joining all the state’s forcibly merged councils in protest this Friday.
She said communities supporting Tumbarumba, Gundagai, Oberon, Harden, Save our Councils in Sydney, Hunters Hill, Ku-ring-gai, Gloucester, Cabonne and more will rally.
The “picket line” will start behind the NAB carpark in Guyra at noon.
Protesters will then rally towards the former Guyra Shire Council building.
