It was an overcast day with the top temperature 23 degrees!
Congratulations to the age champions:
Girls: 13 years-Tayla Mitchell; 14 years-Kasey Gaukroger; 15 years-Ashleigh Richardson; 16 years-Bronte Stanley; 17 years-Sophie Gaukroger.
Boys: 12 years-Fletcher Richardson and Michael Looker; 13 years-Billy Youman; 14 years-Myles Williams; 15 years-Taylor Brennan; 16 years-BJ Cameron; 17 years-Hunter Davidson.
Thank you to Mrs Linley Ryan for organising the carnival and the secondary staff team for fulfilling other important roles and Taylah Martin for her photography.
Special thanks to Miss Clea Townsend and the Year 12 students for the organisation of the sausage sizzle.
Primary held their annual swimming carnival the following day.
We had great success on the day and some records were broken.
Students have commented that it was a fun day due to the novelty events being introduced this year.
Junior boy champion-Cooper Wilson; Junior girl champion-Sophie Mitchell; 11 year old boy champion-Cooper Brennan; 11 year old girl champion-Maddison Bull; Senior boy champion-Sam Atkin and Robert Sisson; Senior Girl champion-Ellie Mitchell.
On February 24, 24 students will compete at the Zone Swimming Carnival in Armidale.
