The Guyra Christmas Party will be held on Saturday 2 December.
Thanks to the shared efforts of Council, the Chamber of Commerce, Guyra Preschool and Long Day Care Centre and various local service clubs the Guyra Christmas event is coming back to the main street.
Armidale Regional Council service leader Greg Lawrence said the festivities would have something for everyone.
“From 4pm there will be an evening of Christmas fun including activities for children, scrumptious local food, a Christmas movie and of course a visit from Santa Claus!” Mr Lawrence said.
“Lights on the Christmas tree will be turned on to mark the start of the holiday season.”
Feature entertainment this year will be The Cat in the Hat Live Show who will be performing at 4.30, 5.30 and 6.30pm.
“The whole community is invited to be a part of the celebration and enjoy the evening of activities,” Mr Lawrence said.
“I am looking forward to seeing everyone there.”
