Bald Blair Public School pupils busy ahead of school holidays

With September holidays kicking in next Friday, September 22 – pupils at Bald Blair Public School have been busy cramming in as much learning as possible before the two-week break.

The Argus swung by the classrooms on Tuesday to see what students were up to.

Poems, pictures, reading and writing were the focus during morning literacy, before some filming.

Tildy, a very cute baby Corgi, also paid a visit to pupils in the morning.

As for what’s on these school holidays – Little Fish Theatre Sports will hold a workshop at the Guyra Council Chambers on September 28.

The activity teaches kids and teens, between 10 and 24 years old, the ins and outs of improvisation and the performance elements vital to succeeding in the very competitive world of theatre sports.

The event will run between 10am and 1pm.

To register for the workshop contact Little Fish via email on info@littlefishentertainment.com.

The Guyra Library will be holding its usual school holiday activities which include a movie day, colouring, Lego and card making workshops.

The movie, Boss Baby, will air on Tuesday September 26 from 10:30am.

Lego workshops will be held Wednesday September 27 and Wednesday October 4 both at 10:30am and 2pm.

Colouring in will be held on October 3 at 10:30am and card making on October 5 from 10:30am. To book contact the library on (02) 6770 7123.
