The club faced a tougher task this week, coming up against seasoned Inverell teams but it was the locals who prevailed across the grades.
The under 8s earned the first win for the day, managing a 20-16 scoreline.
The junior league tag girls easily accounted for their opponents 30 points to 16.
The under 10s continued on from their previous week’s 88-nil drubbing of Uralla to post 44 points to Inverell’s 16 on Saturday.
It was a tight tussle in the under 12s match but the boys in blue stuck it out for a hard fought 10-8 victory.
The cleansweep was witnessed by plenty of the club’s supporters who turned out to cheer on the sides.
“Because it was a home game, there were so many locals who came up to support and watch the kids,” junior Super Spuds president Gina Lockyer said.
“Thank you to all the parents who helped out at the canteen.
“It was great to see so many new faces.”
This week the teams travel to Glen Innes for a match up against the Magpies.
The under 8s will start the day at 10am before the junior league tag girls take to the field at 10.50am. The under 10s are up next at 11.40am and the under 12s round out the day at 12.30pm.
