The conditions may have been dreary but spirits weren’t dampened as the under 8s were unstoppable in their match and posted a 54 points to nil victory.
The junior league tag girls were far too skilful for their opposition and handed Uralla a 54-0 drubbing.
The under 10s had the biggest win of the day and thumped their opponents 88 points to nil.
The under 12s rounded out the triumphs with a 44-0 win.
This weekend’s matches will have the blue-blooded juniors run out on to their home turf for the first time.
They play Inverell with the under 8s getting us underway at 10am.
The junior girls hit the paddock soon after at 10.40am.
The under 10s hope to add to their scintillating win against Uralla when they lace up the boots at 11.30am.
Rounding out the day’s matches is the under 12s who commence their match at 12.20pm.
