Campdraft organiser Donna Davidson said the event was extremely successful and was grateful to the committee and all sponsors who ran a successful two day program.
“The event attracted competitors from all over, including the Northern Territory,” Ms Davidson said.
“Our local competitor and Ray White man Blake O’Reilly, along with his women helpers, did a fantastic job on the microphone keeping the program on track.”
The two-day competition was only made possible after the committee was able to restore stage one of the Guyra Showgrounds renovation project.
“[Thanks to] some major fundraising and with the help of the Armidale Regional Council, the committee have been able restore the old cattle yards at the Guyra Showgrounds,” Ms Davidson said.
