Mrs Carole O’Hara worked with students to create artworks.
Mrs O’Hara inspired them through showing many photos from her recent trip to China and sharing many stories exploring the Chinese culture and tradition.
Students in the senior class painted pictures of Bamboo in traditional Chinese style and the junior students enjoyed using colour to show emotion when decorating masks.
Transition to Kindergarten students were busy learning about the ‘t’ sound last week and created tigers as part of their study of the sound.
Every week they engage in literacy learning, sharing news with their peers and listening to stories.
Counting is always high on the agenda as students have fun using the interactive smartboard to investigate early numeracy concepts.
