Activities coordinator Lisa Church said it was a wonderful expedition which included a complimentary wine tasting and luncheon served in the guest house.
“It was just an absolutely wonderful day,” Ms Church said.
“Everyone had a really great day with a tasting and delicious lunch in the guest house.
“The staff were incredible in how they treated us while we were there.
“We also had a raffle and made our ritual stop at McDonald’s for ice creams.”
The aged care facility ventured to the winery last week on Thursday.
Ms Church said the visit was part of ongoing activities for their clients.
“We have a monthly bus trip for the residents,” Ms Church said.
“It’s a positive outlook on life for our residents to have something to look forward to.”
“It’s really nice for them to have something different from their day-to-day life here at the facility.”
