The ability to run a productive, effective and valuable meeting is a great, yet rare skill. The Guyra Adult Learning Centre (GALA) is running a workshop for local organisations to help them discover how best to prepare and run a good meeting.

The workshop will also cover the roles and responsibilities of the President, Secretary and Treasurer as well as other committee members.
Other things to be covered will be the preparation of agendas, recording of minutes, financial systems and understanding and reading a balance sheet.
The course will take place on Friday, July 29 from 10am to 1pm.
