Congratulations to Karen Oehlers, last Wednesday’s winner, with 38 Stableford points on a count-back from Anita Murray.
Unfortunately no players qualified for Nearest the Pin on the 9th green. A number of players had birdies and gobblers which is always exciting. (The Oxford Concise Dictionary definition of gobble, as well as eating hurriedly and noisily, is a rapid straight putt into the hole.)
Last Wednesday Armidale hosted an excellent day for their Singles Open; however there were no major winners from Guyra. Wendy Jackson won the longest drive on the 13th fairway in her Division.
On Wednesday, 29 June at 9 o’clock we will tee off for Rafters’ 4BBB Stoke Event and NEDGA Jug; playing over 27 holes. The starter is Belinda Lenehan.
