It is a return to Guyra for the former local couple, who left town 12 years ago. However, a change in circumstances and a desire to return to the cooler climate will see them open for business next week.
For Trevor it is a return to his roots, having served his apprenticeship under former owner Brian McLeod.
“We felt the time was right to come home and the opportunity arose, so here we are,” Trevor said. “We are looking forward to reconnecting with the locals and meeting some of the newcomers to town.”
The business will trade as T & A Meats and they promise old fashioned service, including home deliveries, phone orders and all your needs.
They have some great opening specials available so call into the shop at 107 Bradley St to discuss your requirements.
