The Guyra RSL sub-Branch would like to thank all those people who assisted the sub-Branch with ANZAC Day:
Mr Adam Marshall MP for his Commemorative address;
Max and Beverly Handebo for their assistance in so many ways;
Reverend Mark Evers for his support with the Services;
The Guyra Combined Churches Choir for leading with the hymns;
Mrs Nancy Davidson for her prayer at the Service and asking her friends to volunteer for the street stall with members of the sub-Branch, a job well done;
Jamie Mills for being Parade Marshall and did a wonderful job again this year;
Geoff and Anne Thrift for their continued contribution with the speakers and matters electrical so that all the community can hear the Service;
Dorothy Lockyer for the production and printing of the programs for the main service;
Martha Weiderman and Janelle Stewart for their assistance with the feature articles on WWI in The Guyra Argus;
The members of the VRA and SES for giving their time with road closures and the ‘bucket brigade’. The VRA helped raise much needed funds for the Guyra sub-Branch;
Jamie Williams from Black Mountain School and Hope McLure from Guyra Central School for their parts in the service;
Spr Cody Smith for being our Flag Bearer for the March.
Along with these wonderful people, we also thank the Guyra community for their attendance at each Service. It was fantastic and appreciated to see you all there. While our numbers grow small, it is wonderful to see children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren carry the flag for those who have fallen or come home and later passed on.
Thank you all from the members of the Guyra RSL sub-Branch.
A reminder to members that our meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month at 3.00pm at the Memorial Hall.

Secretary, Guyra RSL sub-Branch
