The Under 10’s travelled to Armidale on a cold, wet Saturday. Armidale capitalised on a few early mistakes made by Guyra and scored the first try, taking the lead 6-0.
Guyra learnt to hold the ball and scored three trys in the first half to take the lead at half time 18-12. Tamanhi Landsborough (2) and Brodi Campbell scored the trys with Malekai Landsborough, Archie Dowden and Tom Lockyer kicking the goals.
It was a hard fought second half with Armidale going over to even up the score.Guyra had their chances to take the game but couldn’t get across the line. The game ended in an 18-18 draw.
This weekend Guyra play Inverell Easts at Inverell. Under 8’s play at 10.00am, Under 10’s at 10.50am and under 12’s11.40am.
