The Guyra side started strongly and after wearing down Peel’s defence broke away and scored the first of Guyra’s goals off the boot of Brodie Harman. 

Soon after, Brock Laybutt used his speed to beat the other team’s defence and ran half the field to put away Guyra’s second goal. 

There were some more close shots from the Guyra team, who at this point had control over the game. After half time Brock scored again, set up by a throw in supplied by Austin Youman. 

Peel mounted some threatening attacks on the Guyra goal but this was dealt with by the great defensive duo of Vinnie Abayan and Mason Harman. 

Guyra kept Peel goalless and the final score read 3-0.
