The annual Lamb Show and sale was held at the Guyra saleyards this week. There was a yarding of more than 4500 lambs and entries were showing the benefit of recent rain.

A team of three judges assessed the lambs before deciding on a winner.
The champion pen of heavy lambs belonged to the Williamson family of Neeworra. The lambs were auctioned on behalf of the Williamson’s by agent Andrew Starr from Ray White Rural selling for $178. Runner up was Peter and Dom Jackson.
In the trade lamb category Ian and Julie Walker took top honours with the pen of 33 lambs selling for $150. Runner up was David and Joy Saunders.
The ribbons were presented on behalf of the Guyra Show Society by Vice President Chris Sole. Prizes were also awarded by Josh Lawlor on behalf of the sponsor Landmark.
