The train is on track again, this time with a different mission. It brings to the Guyra Railway Station a cheque to the value of $500 to be presented to the Guyra Rotary Club for the fund raising appeal for the construction of a helipad at the Guyra Hospital.

The six drivers said they are proud to be a part of this after a very successful operation at the January Lamb & Potato Festival. We thank everyone who took a ride and supported our operation.
Wearing both her ‘hats’ as President of the Guyra Rotary Club and General Manager Tablelands Cluster HNEH, Wendy Mulligan thanked the Machinery Group for their generous donation towards the Guyra MPS Helipad.
“This donation adds to the fund raising efforts of the local community and brings us closer to our target of $81,000,” she said.
A number of smaller donations have also been received which are greatly appreciated.
More support is needed to ensure the Helipad gets ‘off the ground’ – it is in sight but requires everyone to get behind it to make this dream become reality. Let’s make this the final push – every dollar counts.
