They won the toss and sent TAS in first on the Guyra Turf. Scoring just 80 runs TAS, were all out after 30 overs. It was slow going in an innings where none of the team managed to reach the boundary.
It was a family affair for the Guyra bowling attack with Demielle Landsborough the best with the excellent figures of 5 for 13 off 7 overs.
Not far behind was Heath Dowsett who took 4 for 8 off 5 overs. Taking the other wicket for Guyra was Brandon Landsborough.
When it was time for Guyra to start the run chase they had little trouble getting on top, with an opening partnership of 46 between Brandon (28) and Peter Presnell (12).
Remaining not out, Matt Friend (21) and Matt Simpson (18) were the only other batters needed to claim victory. Guyra finished their innings on 2 for 89.
They will play their final game for the year this Saturday against Hillgrove Brumbies at Moran Oval.
So far this season they have had seven wins, two losses and a draw and they will be looking to finish the first half of the year on a positive note.
